While I have only had RainSoft for a brief time I love it.  In addition to the benefits described in the demonstration it was even better.  water for my pasta came to a boil quicker and at a lower stove temp.  My love, very think hair cleaned with little shampoo and no conditioner.  The air system quickly tackled burned microwave popcorn.
